Creating Strong Interconnection Standards in the 2011 Legislature
Learn how strong renewable energy interconnection standards will make the Missouri economy more competitive and how you can promote the passage of this important legislation in the 2011 session. The session will focus on Combined Heat and Power (CHP), Landfill Gas, Biomass, and strengthening Missouri’s net metering law for small solar and wind.
Strong interconnection standards would allow Missouri to become more economically competitive, diversify its energy portfolio, and reduce its dependence on imported energy. This event aims to increase awareness of what strong interconnection standards are, answer questions, provide the economic data, and provide the opportunity for coalition building and the exchange of ideas and best practices.
